Through the years, Cincinnati sports fans have grown to love John's style and unique perspective on sports.

This Ohio-native is widely known, both inside and outside the business, as one of the best storytellers around. What makes "Popo" stand out is his writing skill, telling stories that everyone can appreciate (not just hard-core sports fans) and an archive of film and tape footage that humble most libraries!

In addition to his sportscast duties, Popo hosts the long-running Sports of All Sorts call-in show on Sunday nights.

John has covered just about every sporting event imaginable across the country and around the world. His face is seen on ABC affiliates from coast-to-coast. John is a regional sports reporter for ABC while on assignment for Channel 9 and produces packages from marquee sporting events for many ABC stations.

He has won numerous Emmy and other broadcasting awards for his writing, producing and reporting.
