Clyde is still going strong after more than 20 years of reporting and anchoring in Cincinnati and continues to be one of the most respected broadcast journalists working in the city.
Clyde is a member of the Scripps-Howard Foundation, the company's charitable arm, and serves on its Board of Trustees.
Channel 9 News viewers also know Clyde as one of the former key players in our I-Team investigative unit. He's worked on stories that have received attention from lawmakers both in Ohio and in Washington.
Clyde has testified before Senate and Congressional hearings, detailing the findings of I-Team reports that exposed violations of state and federal laws.
Clyde has also won numerous professional awards: two Emmys, the prestigious Sigma Delta Chi Journalism Award and the Columbia University DuPont Award. Currently, he anchors the 11p.m. news, which won the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast in the Nation.
Clyde is married and was born and raised in Winston-Salem, N.C.
